Library Rules at Rajmata Nursing School

To maintain a peaceful, organized, and academic environment, all students and staff are requested to follow the library rules given below:

1. Mobile phones must be kept on silent mode and should not be used inside the library.

2. Maintain complete silence and discipline at all times.

3. Handle all library books, journals, and study materials with care and respect.

4. Do not write, underline, mark, fold pages, or damage any library material.

5. Use bookmarks instead of folding page corners.

6. Students must carry their valid Identity Card while using library services.

7. Books must be issued and returned through the proper library procedure only.

8. Issued books should be returned on or before the due date.

9. A late fee of ₹10 per day will be charged for overdue books.

10. Books are normally issued for a period of seven (7) days from the date of issue unless otherwise specified.

11. Food, beverages, and smoking are strictly prohibited inside the library.

12. Personal belongings should be kept in the designated area, if provided.

13. Maintain cleanliness and avoid disturbing other readers.

14. Reference books, project reports, newspapers, and magazines are for library use only unless permitted by the librarian.

15. Any loss or damage to library materials must be reported immediately and may require replacement or compensation.

16. Students are expected to cooperate with library staff and follow all instructions issued by the librarian.

17. Violation of library rules may result in suspension of library privileges or disciplinary action.
